(Seriously) Spongebob SquarePants



Spongebob Squarepants
This is the SpongeBob Squarepants that we knew. Until researchers discovered a new species of mushroom which lives under a tree in the rain forest, and not in the sea. And because of its strange properties, it was called SpongeBob SquarePants. Nope, just kidding. 

This is the real thing. No kidding now.


With bright orange colour and sometimes purple, shape like a sea sponge, just become among the reason to name it as Spongiforma squarepantsii. It was discovered on the island of Borneo, in the forests of Sarawak, Malaysia in 2010.

Now, let's search for the twin member for Plankton, Mr. Krabs, Squidward and Patrick, shall we?
