(Info) Latest Vehicle License Plate Number in Malaysia

I stumbled upon a link which will directly displays the latest registered plate numbers for all states including Sabah & Sarawak. Wow, I didn't know that that's a lot of different series of plates for Sabah & Sarawak. So a brief lesson coming right up! :)

 

For Peninsular Malaysia, vehicle license plates used starts with a letter of the alphabet defining one of its state/territory where the vehicles are registered. Following an ABC 1234 format, the regional code are as follows:

• A for Perak
• B for Selangor
• C for Pahang
• D for Kelantan
• J for Johor
• K for Kedah
• KV for Langkawi, Kedah
• L for Labuan
• M for Melaka
• N for Negeri Sembilan
• P for Pulau Pinang
• Putrajaya for Putrajaya
• R for Perlis
• T for Terengganu
• W for Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

As for Sarawak, listed below are the vehicle license plates according to division code:

• QA or QK for Kuching
• QB for Sri Aman
• QC for Samarahan & Betong
• QL for Limbang
• QM for Miri
• QP for Kapit
• QR for Sarikei
• QS for Sibu & Mukah
• QSG for Sarawak Government
• QT for Bintulu

What about Sabah? Well, below are the vehicle license plates based also on division code:

• SA for Kota Kinabalu
• SB for Beaufort
• SD for Lahad Datu
• SK for Kudat
• SS for Sandakan
• ST for Tawau
• SU for Keningau
• SG for Sabah Government (no longer used, changed to Kota Kinabalu plates)
• SL for Labuan (until 1984, as Labuan became Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan)

(Info) Acrophobia, Not Vertigo

Have you ever felt the vertigo? Well, according to Wikipedia, vertigo is more accurately a spinning sensation that occurs when one is not actually spinning and true vertigo can be triggered by almost any type of movement or any change in visual perspective.

When you are afraid of height, what would you called it? That feeling is called Acrophobia, not vertigo. It is an extreme or irrational fear of heights and belong to a category of specific phobias, called space and motion discomfort.

Why a post about acrophobia and vertigo? Well, just want to share with you an awesome image.

(LOL) Sama tapi sikit ada lain.

Alamak, komputer diserang trojan/malware lagi. Setiap website yang dicari akan dipintas ke website iklan lain, contohnya jika kita click pada satu link, kita tidak dibawa terus ke laman web tersebut. Sebaliknya akan muncul satu laman web lain yang tidak ada kena mengena langsung.

Mulanya terfikir mungkin ada setting yang salah, almaklumlah, anak pun nak belajar gunakan komputer sekali sekala. Tapi bila dah dibuat 5S, check semula semua setting, still sama. Nampaknya ini bukan masalah biasa. Penggunaan antivirus turut gagal, Adaware gagal, Anti-Malware pun gagal. Dicuba pula Search & Destroy, pun sama juga. Memang agak power masalah trojan ini kerana semua aplikasi di atas telah di'disable'kan semasa scanning. Maknanya belum sempat scan dah kena close. Bestnya.

I was searching for answers to my malware/trojan infected pc when I stumbled on this freeware software. It is called the Combofix. And what it does or designed for is to scan a computer for known malware, spyware (SurfSideKick, QooLogic, and Look2Me as well as any other combination of the mentioned spyware applications) and remove them entirely. I did tried, and it found a trojan/malware which is infecting the TCP/IP configuration, I think. I don't actually remembered what's the name of the trojan/malware but the sofware did actually cleaned the system entirely. That's a good news right?

Then I saw the official logo for Combofix. Wow, I think I recognized that. Is it the same??? See it for yourself.
