(MyStory) Oh Why? Where Did You Go?

Until the end of last month, at least I was having some BE running at this blog. Although the earning were very low, somehow seeing that advertisers still choosing my blog does make me happy. And then something happened. The BE campaign just stopped. Dead. Nada. None.

What really happened? Was it because of lack of updates again? Gulp......

(Tutorial) How To Link Maybank Visa Debit Card To Paypal

For those who wanted to use their Maybank Visa Debit Card for an online purchasing, it would be more secure to use Paypal as the payment portal. Why? Because by using Paypal, no one else will be receiving your card's details. Is that a good reason enough? If you need more convincing argument on the advantages of using PayPal, refer to this link here.

Follow these steps to begin linking your Maybank Visa Debit Card to Paypal.

Step 1
Login to Paypal here. Register if you are a new user.

Step 2
Under My Account tab, click on Profile. Select Add/Edit Credit or Debit Card option. Please key-in your your Maybank Visa Debit Card details here. Just make sure the address is exactly the same as your billing address.

Step 3
Verification email with Paypal code will be sent to your email address. Please wait at least 24 hours to pre-authorize your account. Come back here tomorrow, I am not kidding here, hehe...

Step 4
Login into your Maybank2U account. Click on Accounts & Banking. Check your Account Details.
And then click on Debit Card History.

Step 5
Search for any Paypal related transaction. Usually PREAUTHO SALE xxxxPAYPAL......
Well, you need to copy the xxxx number. Don't worry. The money will be credited into your paypal account after this last step.

Step 6

Login to Paypal again. Use your PayPal email & password. Click on Profile, then Add/Edit Credit or Debit Card. Click on Enter Paypal Code and enter the xxxx number you copied earlier.

And now you have successfully linked your Maybank Visa Debit Card to your Paypal! Enjoy!


Update:
If you're withdrawing your money from Paypal, there are 2 options.
1) To withdraw money to card, RM20 will be charged. 

2) To withdraw money to bank account, PayPal claims that it's free if the amount are more than RM400.

(LOL) Attack of the Duck!

Seen a lot, and I mean a lof of duck nowadays. Not the animal "Duck", but the human with duckface. Not life threatening actually, but the heart-prodding images makes my moral down & sad. Well, a sad person cannot be good. Low productivity, bad (lesser than normal) eating disorder and vice-versa. Wow, this might be the reason the economy turns bad!

A growing trend of duckface photos/videos keeps popping like popcorn. And while some might be seeing this as cute, but some might as well deem this as offensive. You might want to google antiduckface or use this link.

Duckface is popularly used in self-taken photographs to convey an image of cuteness. And for some, it is an alternative for the self-potrait of fat girls to be viewed as a slim person.

You can also choose up to maximum 5 route suggestions. The system will gives you recommendations completes with time, estimated time, the name of stations, distances, fare and so on.

(MyStory) 3rd BE Campaign?

In a day, just after finished up the previous post, another campaign arrived? Wow.

Not much but at least that's something. It is better than not knowing something special is currently going on, and you doesn't have a clue about it. And you know what, that person is me. In November 2010, I didn't know what was happening, until I read in a couple of famous local blogs (yours truly) such as hafidzlife,afrayuri & earncent.

Am thinking of changing the template layout, already tried and tested a couple but still not satisfied. Maybe I'll try again later. Also at the same time current pages are cluttered, messy. Should I ditch everything and leave only the bare-bone template?

(MyStory) At Last, You've Come Back!

I am talking about BE from Nuffnang which stands for Buffered Earning. The first ever campaign that I got was from Nestle which lasted for a week on Nov 2010. And afterwards, the BE campaign just entered into hiatus, and understandably the lack of updates contributed to the lack of interest.

And, this morning I found out that another advertiser has chosen this blog for their campaign. Thank you very much to Halls & Nuffnang!
