(Confused) Does Superman ever need a car?

Found this at local hypermarket while searching for a toy for my son. It just make me wonder, why does Superman need a car when he already can fly? Or is it when the Dark Knight has his own Batmobile aka the Tumbler, other superheroes must have their own cars?
